An Introduction to the Zero Theft Movement

Table of Contents

Welcome to the Zero Theft Movement, the revolution to eradicate the ‘rigged layer’ from the otherwise healthy and ethical U.S. economy.

The rigged layer of the economy enables corrupt corporations and individuals to siphon money from the gross domestic product (GDP) that could, or arguably should, be going to us, the everyday citizens. This economic rigging has arguably been the major contributor to the 50+ years of wage suppression, 50+ years of rigged, fixed prices, and 50+ years of legislators and regulators who act in the interest of moneyed interest instead of our best interests.

GDP ethical rigged

Crony capitalists continue to unethically profit from the rigged layer because they’ve created a vicious cycle. Some corrupt corporations use their seemingly bottomless war chests to take advantage of the Pay for Play system (i.e. campaign donations in exchange for face time with politicians), or simply buy the support of legislators and regulators. With Congress and/or the regulatory body ‘captured,’ corporations are free to unethically maximize profits by stifling competition, price fixing, receiving unfair tax exemptions, and so on. Not to mention, regulators often leave office and work as industry lobbyists, and vice-versa. As regulators and lobbyists switch roles, the extra profits go back to funding another round of lobbying, restarting the cycle once more.

The cycle of theft via rigged layer

In other words, economic elites and congressional sellouts have developed a method to unethically divert a sizable part of what we produce away from us. This causes economic deviation, where bad actors line their pockets further while many American citizens suffer from low wages and little access to quality social services.

Past movements fighting against the rigged layer of the economy (namely, Occupy Wall Street) failed to effect change because they could not properly pinpoint what parts of each economic sector were being rigged, how much was being stolen, and by whom. That’s why the Zero Theft Movement focuses on eliminating the vagueness that troubled Occupy Wall Street by enlisting all of you in a far-reaching investigation into the rigged layer across the U.S. economy.

Citizen investigators analyze and propose a problem area; we all vote, true to direct democracy, to come to a collective verdict on whether we believe the area is rigged, the amount stolen from us, and the bad actors responsible.

For those of you who believe economic rigging does not exist or is too big for anyone to fix, the Zero Theft Movement begs to disagree. And we are here to prove it by reversing the effects of the ‘blue pill.’ That you aren’t getting what you deserve, that you can do something about it. We cannot succeed in eradicating economic inequality if you continue to accept or dismiss this systemic problem. Only through the strength in numbers can we begin to chip away at economic injustice. This is your red pill, your wake-up call.

In this book, I (the founder of the Zero Theft Movement) will break down the philosophy behind the movement by the following major concepts:

  • The system of ethics underpinning the movement;
  • Discovering the problem of the rigged layer;
  • Measuring the size of the problem, or the amount stolen;
  • What YOU and your communities can do to help prevent theft;
  • How to create systematic changes that will eradicate the rigged layer of the economy for good.

Throughout this book, you will get acquainted with iProtest web app—one piece of our bleeding-edge technology necessary to keep the Zero Theft Movement secure and independent from those in power who are corrupt. Our technology allows for effective, efficient, and safe organization between citizens. Disorder and broken communication lines prevent us from tackling the issue collectively.

Always remember: the strength of the Zero Theft Movement lies in numbers, lies in you, the American public.

Standard Disclaimer

The Zero Theft Movement does not have any interest in partisan politics/competition or attacking/defending one side. We seek to eradicate theft from the U.S economy. In other words, how the wealthy and powerful rig the system to steal money from us, the everyday citizen. We need to collectively fight against crony capitalism in order for us to all profit from an ethical economy.

Terms like ‘steal,’ ‘theft,’ and ‘crime’ will frequently appear throughout the book. Zero Theft will NOT adhere strictly to the legal definitions of these terms (since congress sells out). We have broadly and openly defined terms like ‘steal’ and ‘theft’ to refer to the rigged economy and other debated unethical acts that can cause citizens to lose out on money they deserve to keep.
