The Zero Theft Movement is working to protect the ethical parts of the U.S. economy by identifying and eradicating any rigged areas. Our effort does not start from a place of certainty, rather it begins with two questions:
What are the rigged areas of the economy (if any)?
How much is being 'stolen' across the economy?
Read our ArticlesCitizen investigators research a potential problem area (e.g. drug prices, wasteful government contracts, tax evasion, etc.) and produce a proposal with all of their findings.
They also claim
(1) theft is or isn’t occurring and
(2) how much theft is occurring.
Citizens read all the problem proposals for the problem area and vote on the proposal that presents the best case and select what they think is the most accurate estimate for the amount stolen. The top proposal becomes the theft report for the problem area.
Repeat this process across the economy and we can produce the Total Theft Report, a document providing evidence for every single dollar that’s been wrongfully taken from the public.
We bring the report to Congress members and hold them accountable for making the necessary economic reforms to eliminate the rigged economy.
The public decides what reports provide the most accurate depiction and estimate of theft by the rigged economy. You vote on whether you believe theft is occurring. If you think it is, you then vote on how much. Reports may not convince you that theft is actually occurring in that specific area of the economy. You are always free to vote however you wish–no pressure.
Your votes are the single factor in determining where the rigged layer exists and how much is being stolen. The Zero Theft Movement does not show preference, partisanship, or any allegiances to any issue or industry. We who run the movement have as much influence as you: a single vote each.
